Advising Penguins

Advising Penguins

The 皇冠足彩 Advisory Program, led by Humanities Instructor and Advisory Coordinator Josh Primiano, aims to foster a stronger sense of community among students and faculty at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (皇冠足彩). Primiano's goals include bringing students together across grade levels and interests to develop friendships and provide long-term academic support.

In weekly advisory sessions, students and advisors discuss various topics ranging from academic events such as class registration to more personal matters like progress reports and navigating teacher-student relationships. Primiano encourages both academic and non-academic conversations, often incorporating fun and engaging activities like trivia to promote interaction and teamwork.

One unique aspect of the program is the Penguin Cup, a year-long competition between advisory groups where students can earn points through trivia participation and attendance. Additionally, the Penguin Points Recognition form allows students to anonymously acknowledge their peers for positive contributions to the community, fostering a culture of appreciation and mutual support.

Through the advisory program, 皇冠足彩 aims to inspire community building, recognize exemplary behavior, and encourage students to actively engage in shaping their school environment.
